I scanned every electrician Google Places returns for Tucson, sixty of them. I scored each one the same way: reputation, findability, content, trust signals, and whether an AI assistant can read the site. Twelve of the sixty have no working website at all.

Tucson Fast House Electric is one of them. It has a 4.8 rating and 143 reviews. That's not a new business and it's not somebody's weekend job. A hundred and forty three people took the time to write something, and the field where a website goes is empty. It ranks 48th of 60.

Sunny Electric is worse. Its Google listing does show a website, five stars, 53 reviews, so a customer clicks it expecting a normal business site. The domain redirects to a flagged parking page. No website is a gap you can see coming. A dead link on a five star listing is a gap the owner probably doesn't know about, because nobody calls to report a broken site. They just call the next electrician. Sunny ranks 54th.

Ethix Electric has the same problem in a different shape. The site listed on its profile returns a 404. Five stars, eight reviews, rank 59 of 60.

Then there's Buddy & Sons Electric, and this is the result people push back on. Buddy & Sons has a 91.9 reputation score, the highest of any electrician in this market, built on 4.9 stars and 350 reviews. They rank 7th anyway. Their reputation beats the company sitting at #1.

Parker & Sons sits at #1 with a total score of 93.3, and their reputation score is actually lower than Buddy & Sons', 85.9 against 91.9. They're first because everything else on their site checks out: findability, content, trust all land at 100. It's structured data, service pages, a site that actually answers what it says it does. Parker & Sons didn't win on reputation. Nothing else on their scorecard needed fixing.

I'm not saying Buddy & Sons is a worse electrician than Parker & Sons. Three hundred and fifty customers say the opposite, and they'd know better than a scan would. I'm saying their web presence doesn't match what those customers already think of them, and that's the gap this scan is built to find.

None of this is a marketing problem. It's a maintenance problem, and most of it is fixable in an afternoon. If you're one of the sixty, go to your own Google listing, not your bookmark, and click your own website link. That's the one your customers use.
